The true nobility is in being superior to your previous self.

真正的高贵在于超越过去的自己。

It is really difficult to live beyond my previous self.

Remember only when you take your responsibilities can you look beyond yourslef and be a model for others.

So, don't always complain and pass the buck to others.

If it adapts itself to what the majority of our society wants, art will be a meaningless recreation.

如果只去迎合我们主流社会的要求，艺术就会变成毫无意义的消遣。

But in my opinion, only those arts that satisfy the majority of the society can be called good arts.

Otherwise, those so called arts only become the recreation of a few people, then gradually they may lose the energy to develop and to recreate themselves.
