Symptoms

After running Pick Release, when trying to manually allocate pick wave Move Order from the in the Transact Move Order form (INVTOTRX), the following error occurs:

The material sourcing process failed to create picking suggestions for line 1 of move order number...

Note: The issue occurs after running pick release with option Auto Allocate both checked and unchecked.

STEPS
----------
1. Go to: Inventory
2. Navigate to: Move Orders > Transact Move Orders
3. Input Move Order number, click Find
4. Select the line to be transacted.
5. Get error.

Cause

The issue is caused by the following setup: the default staging locator is missing in the Shipping Parameters form.

Solution

1. Go into the responsibility: Order Management
2. Navigate to Setup > Shipping > Shipping Parameters
3. Go to Pick Release tab
4. Input Default Stage Locator
5. Retest the issue.
5. Migrate the solution as appropriate to other environments.
