一般来说Linux上查看一些函数API的说明咱们可以man一下。man 2是syscall，man 3是一些库的函数API。

以下是man sections的一些说明

The table below shows the section numbers of the manual followed by the
types of pages they contain.

1 Executable programs or shell commands
2 System calls (functions provided by the kernel)
3 Library calls (functions within program libraries)
4 Special files (usually found in /dev)
5 File formats and conventions eg /etc/passwd
6 Games
7 Miscellaneous (including macro packages and conventions), e.g.
man(7), groff(7)
8 System administration commands (usually only for root)
9 Kernel routines [Non standard]

A manual page consists of several sections.

其中可以发现，man 9是可以查看的，但是不是标准的，一般的是没有这个section的，所以即使man 9 kmalloc 也看不到这个函数例程的说明。

如果是ubuntu下，可以install linux-manual-$(uname -r)   大概是这样？就是相应内核的手册，或者install linux-doc，这个是html版本的。
