A book is a gift that you can open again and again.

书是你可以一次又一次打开的礼物。

Some gifts are born with you, and you can't change them.

Some can be obtained through the acquired training or from other gifts we get, like books.

But many of us really don't know how to read a book.

Usually, after reading a book, we just know there is something that has happened in the world.

That is not enough.

The real use of things we get from a book is to take them into our own's practice, only in this way the things can be called as knowledge.

Besides, currently some people think that reading or studying is not as useful as it should be.

As a matter of fact, the problem is that they don't know how to read and they haven't read or studied enough.

Change, like healing, takes time.

改变，犹如伤口愈合，是需要时间的。

I always complain that I have done many things, but I haven't get the result I expected.

The complaints are no use.

Change, just like healing, takes time.

Don't expect immediate effects,

If you can insist on improving yourself, gradually you will find out the positive changes.
