风暴使树木深深扎根。

Sometimes, you may feel frustrated for failing to win something.

But don't give up, because it may be not bad to meet some difficulties in life, just as the saying goes, storms make trees take deeper roots.

However, not every tree can take its root deep enough to struggle against the storm, many trees are blown down by the storms.

Why? Are their roots not deep enough? Or because the storms are too violent?

Anyway, we can't decide how violent the storms will be, but we can decide how deep your roots will be.

There are some things you learn best in calm, and some in storm.

你会在风平浪静时学会一些事情，在暴风骤雨中学会另外一些。

And I have learned that I had better bend down when in storm, otherwise I might be blown down by the violent storm.
