Lesson 2 Breakfast or lunch?

It was Sunday. I never get up early on Sundays. I sometimes stay in bed until lunchtime. Last Sunday I got up very late. I looked out of the window. It was dark outside. 'What a day!' I thought. 'It's raining agin.' Just then, the telephone rang. It was my aunt Lucy. 'I've just arrived by train,' she said. 'I'm coming to see you.'
'But I'm still having breakfast,'I said.
'What are you doing?' she asked.
'I'm having breakfast.' I repeated.
'Dear me!' she said. 'Do you always get up so late? It's one o'clock!'

Note

1. until: 直到……才；直到……为止
   until ＋ 时间状语从句
   • His father didn't die until he came back.
   • His father was alive until he came back.
     e.g.
   • He waited until it stopped rainning.
   • He didn't leave unitl it stoped rainning.
2. ring:n.（刺耳的）铃声; v. (rang,rung) （铃、电话等）响
   ring sb. 给某人打电话 Tomorrow I'll ring you.
   n. 打电话 Give me a ring.
   Remember to ring me. = Remember to give me a ring.

   n. 戒指

3. aunt:阿姨，婶婶，姑姑，姨妈
   uncle: 伯伯，叔叔，舅舅，姑父
   cousin: 表哥（第），堂哥（第）
   nephew:侄子，外甥
   niece:侄女，外甥女

4. by train: by+（直接）加交通工具（不能有任何修饰词、复数）
   e.g.
   I go out by bus.
   I go out on/in two buses.

5. 用come的现在进行时态，表示一般将来时
   go,come,leave,arrive,land,meet,die,start,return,join...

6. look:vi. 一定要加介词
   see:vt. + 宾语
   watch:观看（比赛、电影、电视）宾语是能够活动的东西。
