语法（Grammar）

Singular(单数) and plural(复数)

1) Most nouns + s，example：boy-boys girl-girls map-maps

2) End with s, sh, ch, x + es，example：bus-buses  box-boxes

3) End with y, 

1>. y before a consonant ->   i + es , example:  country-contries  dictionary-dictionaries

2>.y before a vowel or  proper noun(专有名词) -> s, example:   boy-boys,holiday-holidays

4)End with o,

1>. end with a consonant + o and No life's nouns, + s.example: piano-pianos  photo-photos

2>.end with a consonant + o and have life's nouns, + es.example:tomato-tomatoes potato-potatoes

5)End with f or fe, v + es.example: knife-knives,life-lives,wife-wives, but notice, example: safe-safes(保险箱),belief-beliefs（信仰；信念）

6) No regular  rules(没有规律的),example: man-men, person-people
