MySQL Study之--Percona Server版本号

1、简单介绍

     Percona 为 MySQL 数据库server进行了改进。在功能和性能上较 MySQL 有着非常显著的提升。该版本号提升了在高负载情况下的 InnoDB 的性能、为 DBA 提供一些非常实用的性能诊断工具；另外有很多其它的參数和命令来控制server行为。

2、特点

Percona Server 仅仅包括 MySQL 的server版，并没有提供对应对 MySQL 的 Connector 和 GUI 工具进行改进。

Percona Server 使用了一些 google-mysql-tools, Proven Scaling, Open Query 对 MySQL 进行改造。

3、版本号公布

2012年08月15日，Percona Server 5.6 Alpha 公布。

2012年08月23日，Percona Server 5.5.27-28.0 公布。

2013年04月11日。Percona Server for MySQL 5.5.30-30.2 公布

一、安装Percona-Server

1、安装Percona-Server-shared

PLEASE REMEMBER TO SET A PASSWORD FOR THE MySQL root USER !

To do so, start the server, then issue the following commands:

  /usr/bin/mysqladmin -u root password 'new-password'

  /usr/bin/mysqladmin -u root -h mysql2 password 'new-password'

Alternatively you can run:

  /usr/bin/mysql_secure_installation

which will also give you the option of removing the test

databases and anonymous user created by default.  This is

strongly recommended for production servers.

1、libssl.so.10和libcrypto.so.10  错误

安装openssl：        



下载openssl-1.0.1：

http://pkgs.org/centos-7/centos-x86_64/openssl-libs-1.0.1e-42.el7.x86_64.rpm/download/

  

[root@mysql2 soft]# rpm -ivh openssl-1.0.1e-42.el6.x86_64.rpm  --force

----RedHat EL6自带openssl-1.0.0版本号，对于Percona-Server应该安装openssl-1.0.1的版本号，安装新版本号后，问题解决。

2、解决“/usr/lib/libcrypto.so.10: no version information available ”
