Abstract   It‘s very powerful for DB Query Analyzer in EXCELfile processing. I’ll give you a sample to show its powerful function. Pleasemake sure that column name coinciding with the data should be included in thefirst row in EXCEL file. From 5.03, the table name will be enclosed in square bracketautomatically by DB Query Analyzer while accessing the ODBC Data source basedon MS EXCEL.

2       Preface

Files : EXCEL file

Client tool : DB QueryAnalyzer 5.03.

3      Create ODBC Data Source according to EXCELfile

First I create a ODBCData Source ‘TXT_CSV_ODBC’according to EXCEL file by DB Query Analyzer. Clickmenu item toolsàODBC Data Source Managerto run the windows ODBC Data Source Administrator form. This is shown in Figure1 and Figure 2.

4  Execute SQL after connected to ‘TXT_CSV_ODBC’

Run DB Query Analyzer 5.03,then click ‘File’ menu to choose ‘Connect’ to open the logging window. SelectODBC Data Source ‘TXT_CSV_ODBC’.
