Why are we making this changes?

Construction projects will close some transit facilities to buses in March 2019, including the Montlake Freeway Station and the Downtown Seattle Transit Tunnel.

Congestion is also increasing, so maintaining current service levels requires additional resources. Many changes proposed in 2019 increases our ability to operate service reliably and efficiently amidst these challenges.

We are committed it to fair and equal treatment for everyone who rides our buses and trains. Under the Title VI of  the United States Federal Civil Rights Act of 1964, our riders will not face discrimination due to race, color or national origin as a result of any ST program or activity. If you believe you have been discriminated against, you can file a discrimination complaint.
