[原创]PostgreSQL Plus Advanced Server监控工具PEM（二）

2、安装PEM Client

简单两条命令，开始PEM Client的安装。

我们在SUSE 11sp2上安装PEM Client

安装结束，运行PEM Client后可以看到如下的界面：

目前我们并未在PEM Client中连接任何的EDB Server和PEM Server，下面在EDB Server上安装PEM Agent，并将托管数据库服务器加入PEM Client的监控队列中。

3、安装PEM Agent

在托管数据库服务器（目标监控数据库服务器）上安装PEM Agent。安装PEM Agent可以通过图形化界面或文本界面进行安装。这里以文本界面安装为例讲述如何在托管数据库服务器上安装PEM Agent。

安装很简单，与安装PEM Server、Client一样：为安装文件赋予可执行权限之后运行即可。

[root@rhel ~]# chmod u+x pem_agent-3.0.1-7-linux-x64.run

[root@rhel ~]# ./ pem_agent-3.0.1-7-linux-x64.run

在安装过程中，需要输入PEM SERVER的相关信息
