新安装了一个tomcat6,安装完之后在webapps下面会有一些tomcat自带的项目(ROOT、manager、host-manager...) 把这些没用的项目删掉之后，启动tomcat 报如下错误

	at org.apache.catalina.startup.HostConfig.deployDescriptor(HostConfig.java:675)

	at org.apache.catalina.startup.HostConfig.deployDescriptors(HostConfig.java:601)

	at org.apache.catalina.startup.HostConfig.deployApps(HostConfig.java:502)

	at org.apache.catalina.startup.HostConfig.start(HostConfig.java:1317)

原因是，在你未删除这些之前启动过tomcat 然后会在tomcat\conf目录下自动生成Catalina文件夹

里面有manager.xml、host-manager.xml两个文件。



之后再启动tomcat就会报host-manager does not exist

解决办法可以删除这个Catalina文件夹，如下：

或者在还没启动tomcat之前(干净的tomcat)删除那些没用的项目然后再启动tomcat
