17.Getting to the essence of things.抓住事情的本质

From today on, I think I should keep a diary.

1. To the CCU University class of 2021,the graduate students and the undergradutes,I'm honored to be among the first to congratulate you on compeleting your years at CCU University.2021届的硕士们和本科毕业生们，我很荣幸，能够捷足先登，最先来祝贺大家完成了你们在长春大学的学业。
2. Not overdo sth.适可而止。
3. Today we're literally beaming,with a little bit of relief and lots of tenderness.今天,我们发自内心的高兴，同时还有 少许的轻松，也有很多的欣慰。

7. Employment prospects for the graduating seniors are,let's face it,rather grim.可以坦率的说，现在的就业前景对于毕业生来说，相当严峻。
8. While you are not faced with stagflation(n.滞涨，通货膨胀) exactly,your expectations of the job market have no doubt been flattened(v.（使）变平) if you entered Stanford，but that's not the case.如果你没有真正的遭遇过通货膨胀，毫无疑问，如果你们能够进入斯坦福大学，你们的就业前景就一片光明了，但是事实并非如此。
9. But here you are, the Class of 2021, And times have changed.但是，现在你们是2021届的毕业生，时代已经改变了。

I am scared of leaving the protective bubble of the place for places unknown,during uncertain Internet times... and I am afraid for squandering(v.浪费) the incredible gift of my college experience on pursuits that are't commensurate(adj.相称的) with expections I... and others... had of me.I am scared of not doing it all,of making irrevocable mistakes.我害怕离开大学这个保护伞，害怕在不确定的互联网时代去未知的地方... 而且我也害怕将我在大学所获得的惊人的才华浪费在与我和大家对我的期望不相称的事情上，我害怕无所事事，也害怕犯下无法挽回的错误。
