一、背景

最近将我的Mac升级成了Monterey版本，结果发现之前的安装的VirtualBox虚拟机无法启动，报了如下错误。

Kernel driver not installed (rc=-1908)

Make sure the kernel module has been loaded successfully.

where: suplibOsInit what: 3 VERR_VM_DRIVER_NOT_INSTALLED (-1908) - The support driver is not installed. On linux, open returned ENOENT.

在网上搜索了一下，大多是linux系统的解决方案，此处记录一下mac系统的解决方案。

二、解决方案

1、重新下载一个最新的VirtualBox虚拟机

下载地址 https://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Downloads

2、卸载旧的虚拟机

如果机器上打开了旧的虚拟机界面，先将旧的虚拟机关闭。

不然在启动卸载程序后，也会建议先关闭本地启动的虚拟机。

1、双击启动程序

2、点击卸载程序

3、输入yes、密码后开始卸载

4、卸载完成后，安装

5、安装的过程中需要允许下方的这个更新

6、重新启动系统

7、重新启动之前已经存在的虚拟机



可以发现虚拟机已经可以正常启动了，至此这个问题已经解决了。
