2.tar zxf code-stable-code_1.18.1-1510857349_amd64.tar.gz

3.mv VSCode-linux-x64 /usr/local/

4.chmod +x /usr/local/VSCode-linux-x64/code

5.cp /usr/local/VSCode-linux-x64/resources/app/resources/linux/code.png /usr/share/icons/

6.vim /usr/share/applications/VSCode.desktop

input :

[Desktop Entry]
Name=Visual Studio Code
Comment=Multi-platform code editor for Linux
Exec=/usr/local/VSCode-linux-x64/code

7.cp /usr/share/applications/VSCode.desktop ~/Desktop/

note:sometimes it can not run,you should me

ldd /usr/local/Vscode/code

you will get libXss.so.l => not found

then:

yum search libXSS

yum install libXScrnSaver

reboot

done
